Extra visibility never hurts, especially when it comes to recruiting, does it? To boost your co-optation program, it’s essential to develop powerful communication tools that will engage your employees in the scheme. And for this, theco-optation poster is a powerful tool.

But how do you create the right poster? Chloé Lechavalier, CSM at Keycoopt, tells you all….

The co-optation poster, a way of raising awareness among all your employees

Chloé Lechevalier, CSM at Keycoopt: “In fact, theco-optation poster is an additional AND complementary way of raising awareness of the platform: visibility that’s essential for getting an impactful message across.

It’s a good idea to create a poster at the launch of your co-optation program, but also at key moments in the program.

The visual support serves as a back-up for the animation e-mails that your tool can provide, allowing you to create :

  • Double the contact points.
  • A simple and effective way of reaching all your employees.

Posters also help us avoid mass mailings, which often lead us to miss out on relevant information !

Print or digital? Think relevance!

What is the process for creating an impactful co-optation poster?

3 things to consider.

✅ Visuals: capturing your teams’ attention

The ad must be consistent with the tool, the brand image and the co-optation charter.

Mention :

  • Main info (2/3 items)
  • A clear, concise message (2/3 info)
  • Link to tool or QR code
  • Reward, if applicable
  • 2/3 facts about the tool

✅ The display location: visible internally to employees but invisible to customers

For example: break rooms, coffee machines, meeting rooms, during company events, on-boarding etc…

✅ How long will your co-optation poster take?

When launching the platform, about 1 month.

Constant reminders will further stimulate your program:

  • Platform anniversaries
  • 100th recruitment
  • Co-optation Challenge

Reminder posters will have a decreasing penetration rate the longer they are displayed.

Avoid abuse! (Too much text, several different messages or too targeted, too much or too little color, too many access points…)

Use various tools to express/represent your co-optation policy

Generally speaking, each person has a particular means of communication that will meet a precise need at a particular time. OOH can work very well with a given medium and a particular target, but it doesn’t necessarily work all year round.

A word of advice: vary your tools!

  • Audio: digital podcasts, oral communication (DG speaking), manager’s one-to-one with his team, annual interview, induction day, follow-up…
  • Visuals: posters, flyers, user guides, videos, emails ….

Customize your emails: depending on your tool, you can have several types of animation emails.

  • Animation email: to encourage “how XXX” action
  • Targeted email by ad: by profession, by location …
  • Personalized teaser email (pre-launch): a call to action for a new tool & upcoming announcements about it

Celebrate your launch!

An event, a launch party, a breakfast, a convention, a seminar… Liven up your program with a video, or a co-op/coopt interview, launch, tutorial…

Involve your managers and recruiters: they’re information relays!

Get your spokespeople and internal sponsors on board to pass on the information. This is a difficult phase, because these are the most important people, but the ones whose interest in co-option is least tangible.

The message and the simplicity of the relay are paramount!

How can Keycoopt help you?

At Keycoopt, we’re convinced that animation is the key to a successful co-optation program. And experience has proven us right!

That’s why we place particular emphasis on supporting our customers in this area. In addition to our platform tool, we provide turnkey communication packages (by theme or objective), monthly communication operations to animate the platform…
